Mental Health First Aid
The Standard Mental Health First Aid course teaches participants how to provide initial support to another adult who may be experiencing a mental health problem or mental health crisis, until professional help is received, or the crisis resolves.
Trauma-informed De-escalation
Trauma-informed de-escalation training is critically important as it equips employees with the knowledge and skills to recognise and respond to signs of distress or trauma in customers/consumers with empathy and sensitivity.
De-mystifying Mental Health in the Workplace (Trauma-Informed)
Our mental health professional adopts an empathetic, trauma-informed approach to address topics such as grief, depression, self-harm, suicide, anxiety, and more. Learn to recognise the signs of mental distress, engage in supportive conversations, and guide colleagues to professional help.
Bouncing Back Program for Sports Clubs
Bouncing Back is a tailored, trauma-informed course designed to open up conversations about mental health. It helps identify, understand, support, and destigmatise challenges that may exist at your club. The course also addresses bullying and conflict resolution among various cohorts, including players and spectators.
Understanding the Hearing Voices Network Approach

LGBTIQA+ Inclusive Practice (2 sessions)
This course utilises our mental health expertise and Rainbow Tick accreditation to support your journey towards creating an LGBTIQA+ inclusive workplace. Our facilitator, drawing from lived experience, encourages questions to build confidence in using inclusive language. The aim is to reduce the psychosocial impacts of discrimination and foster a culture of inclusion and belonging for LGBTIQA+ employees.

Training Manager
Paul is a passionate lived experience mental health professional who has a unique ability to incorporate music, media and creativity to empower, uplift and inspire. Paul has extensive experience delivering mental health training to community and corporate groups.
Given his background Paul’s training receives excellent feedback, reflective of his depth of knowledge and ability to build rapport. He has gained a strong reputation for making audiences feel comfortable with his passionate, trauma informed approach opening conversations that enable deeper learning and help to destigmatise topics such as complex trauma, mental health distress and challenges with alcohol and other drugs.

Hearing Voices Network Team
As well as belonging to the longest running Hearing Voices Network in Australia, our team has 25 years of combined professional and lived experience in hearing voices.
The team is dedicated to building a strong community of voice hearers by providing safe and inclusive support groups. They also share their expertise to help service providers and health professionals better understand the voice hearing experience and the associated mental health challenges.

Helen Robinson
LGBTIQ+ Inclusive Practice Training
Helen Robinson (She/Her) is a passionate member of the LGBTIQA+ community and experienced trainer who has been working to support LGBTIQA+ people and build community awareness of diversity and inclusion for the past 14 years.
Helen has developed and delivered training to both Government and not for profit organisations, universities, colleges and as an invited guest at events including the National Safe Schools Conference and the National LGBTIQ+ Health in Difference Conference.
Helen joined Richmond Wellbeing as Inclusion and Belonging Lead to support the implementation of our LGBTIQA+ ‘ENRICH’ strategy. As a proud subject matter expert, Helen continues to ensure her knowledge remains current, to guide our unique and impactful work in both LGBTIQA+ strategy and training.
