At our Bassendean supported accommodation, our focus is on working with you to develop an individualised plan that helps you cope with daily challenges and persistent mental distress. We want you to be independent and thrive in your community.

You’ll engage in group activities, and we will work with you to build the future you want for yourself. Whether it’s employment, study, exercise/health promotion, or social connectedness, we can help.

Finally, you’ll have around the clock mental health support, seven days a week. We are here for you.

Rates

Current lodging fees per fortnight:

  • Disability Support Pension (DSP) > 21 years               $560
  • Disability Support Pension (DSP) < 21 years               $450
  • Job Seeker                                                                         $420
  • Youth Allowance (Inc. Youth Disability Support         $410
  • Youth Allowance (Exc. Youth Disability Support)       $330

Resident rents are subject to review annually in April each year.

How to Apply

Living in supported accommodation is likely to be different from the way that you have lived before. If you are looking at our supported accommodation services, make sure to download and read our Recovery Accommodation Information Handbook.

If you require the Handbook sent to you by Australia Post, please Contact us on 9350 8800 and request a copy.

Step 1) Complete the referral form. This can be completed by anybody – yourself, a family member, a Carer, a case manager, mental health service provider, social services or other health provider you are linked in with.

Step 2) Upon receiving both your Residential Referral Form Richmond Wellbeing will contact you or your referring case manager to advise you if we are able to progress with your referral, or to seek further information. If your referral meets our eligibility criteria, your referral will then be put forward to the suitable program or site manager.

Step 3) Staff at the referred service may arrange an interview with you and speak with other stakeholders to assess your suitability. Where preference is indicated for a particular program, we will try to meet the request.

Step 4) Shortly after, Richmond Wellbeing will contact your referrer to discuss the outcome of your referral.

Richmond Wellbeing takes your privacy very seriously. Any personal information collected will be protected by Richmond Wellbeing policies and procedures. In the referral process, this will include your social, medical and psychological information.
