PaRK Service

PaRK Service operates to the belief that people can and do recover from mental distress. The PaRK Service offers 10 individuals the opportunity to work together with staff to explore their personal definition of recovery. Through this process, individuals may focus on what a meaningful and fulfilling life looks like and actively work towards this.   

Individuals live in shared accommodation within a two-bedroom house in the Rockingham/Mandurah region. The accommodation is offered on the basis that the individual actively engages in their personally crafted recovery program, for up to 12 months and there is the option of continued outreach support for a further six months once leaving the accommodation.  

Support is offered through an in reach model. 

• Aged 18-64 years of age.
• Formal diagnosis of mental health disorder or mental health distress (must be the primary concern).
• Must be willing to actively participate in their recovery journey.
• This service supports consumers via drop-in supports on weekdays only. Individuals need to be fairly independent and not require overnight or weekend support.
• Potential residents will ideally have existing supports, either formal or informal, in the Peel, Rockingham and/or Kwinana region of Western Australia.
• Please note that PaRK provides support for adult males and adult females, and is unable to provide accommodation for children, couples, or families at this time.

Current rent per fortnight:

• Disability Support Pension (DSP) > 21 years : $530
• Disability Support Pension (DSP) < 21 years : $410
• Job Seeker : $400
• Youth Allowance (Inc. Youth Disability Support): $370
• Youth Allowance (Exc. Youth Disability Support ): $340

Additional Fees per fortnight

• Larger bedroom: $20

Resident rents are subject to review annually in April each year.

Our team will then send you the relevant form and other information to help you through this referral process.
