Recognising your own mental health and wellbeing

Being about to notice when things aren’t feeling right is an important part of taking charge of your mental health. By recognising the signs early, you’re building a stronger foundation for recovery.

Talking to someone you trust – whether it’s a friend, family member, partner or or health care professional – can provide clarity and direction.  A conversation with your GP can help you explore options for professional support tailored to your needs: Are you eligible for the government Mental Health Care Plan?
