‘Healing Voices’ the social action documentary is at the centre of a grass-roote release, brining the film directly the people. Richmond Wellbeing in partnership with CoMHWA are participating in this grass-roots premier event right here in Perth, Western Australia.
The film explores the experiences commonly labelled as ‘psychosis’ or ‘mental illness’ through real life stories and discusses the question: “What are we talking about when we talk about ‘mental illness’?
Following the screening Richmond Wellbeing will open up a public discussion on the film and contemporary mental health.
