We believe in a community where anyone can experience mental health recovery, wellbeing and have the opportunity to realise their aspirations.

It takes courage to recover

And it takes courage to invest in the mental wellbeing of others

Whether you have your own lived experience or care for someone who has, your support will help empower our community and create lasting change for people with mental health challenges.

The Need

In 2024, Australia is facing a growing mental health crisis amidst acute financial hardship. According to 2023 data released by the Australian Bureau of Statistics, Western Australia has a higher-than-national rate of mental health distress, with 45.3% or 940,300 people aged 16-85 experiencing a lifetime mental health disorder. How we help

I felt in really good hands, as a human being and as a professional. I was provided the support I needed with care, honesty, and empathy. I was listened to. I was given very useful advice in all aspects of my situation at the time. I was cheered up and I was made to laugh in a time of darkness. I couldn’t have wished for more supportive, knowledgeable, and kind support. You lightened me up and boosted my confidence.

I am very pleased with my progress along my recovery journey and I am still progressing each day. I would like to thank Richmind WA for the opportunity to achieve my personal goals and for providing an environment that has allowed me to improve my self-awareness.
